The Weekday Early Education (WEE Learn) curriculum is used in our classes. God designed each child so uniquely that no child fits squarely in the middle of any set of characteristics during any age or stage. Each child develops at their own pace; the WEE Learn Curriculum compliments this philosophy. An age appropriate integrated approach will be used to help foster the development of your child. The WEE Learn curriculum offers children choices in learning centers, provides opportunities for children to think and solve problems, and gives them daily opportunities to grow, develop, and enjoy success through play. A preschool child learns best through play. This curriculum seeks to develop the whole child according to Luke 2:52 “And Jesus increased in wisdom (mental), and in stature (physical), and in favor with God (spiritual), and man (social and emotional).” The purpose of the WEE Learn Curriculum is to provide a framework on which teachers can build an early childhood program that allows and encourages children to develop separately, across five domains: cognitive, physical, social, emotional and spiritual development.

The WEE Learn curriculum is a faith-based curriculum based on the findings of brain research, and seeks to address seven domains of development; emotional, leaning attitude, mental/cognitive, physical, health, motor social and spiritual. Four separate guides are intended for age-graded programs that include: 2’s, 3’s, 4’s and 5’s. Activities are designed to meet the needs of the children at their levels of development along the growth continuum.

The environment is set up for learning centers with particular attention paid to traffic patterns, noisy and quiet areas as will as developmentally appropriate furnishings. The centers include Art, Author’s Corner, Blocks, Book, Home Living, Music and Movement, Nature and Science, Puzzles and Manipulatives.
