The mission of Hiz Kidz First is to extend the ministry of and to help accomplish the purpose of First Baptist Church of High Springs by providing Christian childcare, excellent preschool education and progressive development for each child; to encourage them to grow to their greatest potential in the areas of cognitive, physical, social, emotional and spiritual development. This is to be accomplished by providing developmentally appropriate activities with guidance and nurturing for each child and providing an outreach ministry to the families of the children enrolled. Offering quality Christian preschool education and a safe, secure before and after school program.

I warmly welcome you to Hiz Kidz First, an outreach ministry of First Baptist Church of High Springs. Founded in 1978, the preschool has always had a rich history where laughter and play are cherished, where children are accepted and loved, and where learning takes place in everyday activities.

The goal of Hiz Kidz First is to stimulate your child physically, mentally, emotionally, socially, as well as, spiritually. We believe your child is unique and specially made by God and it is our desire to help your child “grow in wisdom and stature and in favor with God and man.” Luke 2:52

I am very proud of the school’s professional staff; selected for their knowledge of child development, their love for children, and their strong devotion to the Lord—they are the strength of our school.
