Welcome Parents!

Welcome Pre-K Parents,

Your child’s last year of pre-school before heading off to kindergarten is here.  I am sure it feels like just yesterday you were changing diapers and rocking them to sleep.  As we embark on this new year, I want to encourage you to embrace this year and enjoy their last year before they head off to “big school”.

I want to welcome you all to the Panda Bear Class.  The other pre-k class is called the Koala Bear Class.  I will be the morning teacher.  I have planned a year full of fun and excitement.

I will be teaching everything from art to math and phonics.  We will be reading numerous books and many of our activities throughout the year will revolve around the literature we read in our class.  We will be learning letters and numbers, how to write our names, and recognize shapes and colors.  Our program is based on learning through play.  Even though it may seem at first glance that your child is just playing all day, all of play has a purpose and is specifically planned with learning in mind.

Please do not hesitate to ask if you have any questions about our program this year.  I will send out newsletters regularly throughout the year to keep you informed about our themes, Bible focus, and any activities we will be having.  We look forward to growing with your child this year and sharing God’s love with them.
